Junior Rider Grant

Windfall Farm is excited to announce the recipients of our Junior Rider Grant. The grant was intended to help defray the cost of horse showing. We at Windfall understand that there are huge barriers to participating in equestrian sports, one of them being cost. Our goal with these grants is to help provide riders who may have financial limitations the opportunity to attend horse shows. Winning series awards and qualifying for state medal finals can require participants to show at 5 + horse shows a year. This grant will hopefully allow these riders to participate in several events and help them achieve their equestrian dreams for the 2022 show season.

Originally Windfall had planned to give out two $500 grants but due to the generous support of members of our equestrian community we are able to provide two additional grants for $250 each. Gift certificates will also be awarded to all who applied! Huge thank you to Kierston Gray & Shelley Mann for your donations. Their pledges will allow two additional riders access to local horse shows and learning opportunities.

Congratulations to our 2022 Junior Rider Grant recipients:

Elizabeth Howard $500

Grace Benes $500

Gabriella Sitts $250

Isabella Battle $250

Thank you again for all of the support both in donations, shares, and of course applications. Reading the essays from riders and coaches really brought light to many hard working and deserving young equestrians in our community. We look forward to seeing all of you this season.
