Our story

Windfall Farm was established in 1985 when current owner and operator Erica Fromm Staib purchased the farm. The original farm sat on just 16 acres that had been left in disrepair from years of vacancy. The farm needed a lot of work which allowed long hours on a tractor clearing the fields. These hours spent looking at the property left plenty of time for Erica to day dream. She observed that the land had beautiful mature trees, tons of open flat land, and a serene landscape. That is when she realized this would make a beautiful horse show facility. Work on the property then shifted from just horse keeping at home to creating an event space!

August of 1985 the first Windfall Farm horse show was held. The feedback was positive and the show was well attended so onward Erica went to create an even better and larger show facility for the community. Soon Windfall would hold annual competitions and feature Cincinnati's first local show circuit awards. When creating these event's one of Erica's primary concerns was price. She knew how expensive horse showing could be and wanted to help provide affordable shows and obtainable goals for riders at all levels and budgets. Windfall Farm has stayed true to its mission in providing quality shows at an affordable price for over 30 years.
